Beeswax Candle

According to lore, Medusa was once a beautiful maiden who was raped by Poseidon in Athena's temple. Athena punished Medusa by turning her into a gorgon, and thus, the victim became the predator. She was beheaded in her sleep by Perseus and her decapitated head was used as a weapon on the shield of Athena.

Medusa today is worshipped as a SA survivor, and advocate. It is said that she will not work with men but is a great defender (shield) to women. 

Candle is approximately 3.5" tall.
